Kyere Monastery as we saw it when we arrived in 1996, following the path from Weyching Gompa. The largest building in this picture is the Lhakang, which is the primary place where the monks and teachers practice as a group. The rock on the right is Pabmasambhava Mountain, where the late Choygam Trungpa Rinpoche discovered terma or hidden treasures. |
